The UUMAC Youth Program is for high school students from grades nine through
grade twelve.
The youth form a close-knit community-within-the-community that inspires and
energizes the entire intergenerational UUMAC community. Our youth participate in
their own daily group activities, but are also welcome to sign up for workshops.
Traditional highlights include planning Youth Night Owls and a vespers service
for the entire community. The tweens, youth and young adults celebrate
transitions in our annual bridging ceremony. Our Youth Program leadership team
empowers our youth to be active in developing programming that builds community,
explores spirituality and encourages discussion about the issues and interests
of today’s youth.
