Spiritual House Show and Tell - 8/7 @ 5pm

Gather your art and crafts supplies and spend time in community while making your own spiritual house.  We’ll be guided by the "Spirit in Practice" Tapestry of Faith curriculum as we use words, images, and colors to reflect and create a house designed with intention and built on sacred ground.

Before we meet, take the time to gather images, words, and symbols that reflect some aspect of how you define spirituality.  Consider old calendars, greeting cards, magazines, items from nature, poetry, song lyrics, books, notes on scraps of paper, dreams, scents, sights/colors, family photos/ancestral stories, real/fictional characters from books/movies/other sources, etc.

What Do I Need?

An 11x17 (or larger) piece of cardstock will do but you may also want to consider using canvas, wood or any other material you’re drawn to.  

Other supplies to have on hand: mod podge or glue, paintbrushes, pencils, markers, paint, stencils, scissors, etc.
